Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility - St. George Replacement Airport
Bid Inquiry No. ARFF 09-0037 RA Project No. 0805 AIP No. 3-49-0060-XX
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, for improvements to St. George Replacement Airport, Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility, St. George, Utah, Project No. 0805, Bid Inquiry No. ARFF 09-0037 RA, AIP No. 3-49-0060-XX will be received by the City of St. George Purchasing Office, 175 East 200 North, St. George Utah 84770, until March 16, 2010, 3:00 P.M. MST local time, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
The work involved will include the following: Construction of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility for the St. George Replacement Airport. A brief description of the project is as follows: This project will construct an Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Facility and Maintenance Facility, having a total floor area of approximately 9,700 square feet. The Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Facility will include Apparatus and Support Rooms; Administration Lobby , Offices and Conference Room; Crew areas; Ancillary areas; and miscellaneous building construction. The Maintenance Facility will include offices and Maintenance Bays.; and miscellaneous building construction.
Contract Documents The complete set of Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents can be obtained from Jacobs Engineering, 20 North Main Street, Suite 107, St. George, Utah 84770 beginning on February 22, 2010. The Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents can be purchased at a non-refundable cost of $100.00 via check made payable to Jacobs Engineering. When payment has been received, the Jacobs Engineering representative will provide or send the plan set information.
Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit The mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit for this project will be held at 1:00 P.M. MST , local time, on March 8, 2010, at the Dixie Center, 1835 Convention Center Drive, St. George, Utah 84790. All bidders are required to examine the site to become familiar with all site conditions. A site tour will be conducted after the pre-bid conference. This will be the only opportunity a perspective bidder will have to examine the site.
