NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
The City of St. George Purchasing Department will accept sealed bid proposals for the CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS IN THE BOWLER-ENCE-MARSH SUBDIVISION IN ST. GEORGE, CONSISTING OF GRADING, ROADBASE, ASPHALT SURFACING, STORM DRAIN INSTALLATION AND OTHER ITEMS. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the project may be obtained at the St. George City Engineer’s Office, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. A non-refundable fee of $10.00 per set will be charged. All bids shall be submitted to the St. George City Purchasing Agent AND WILL BE PUBLICLY OPENED AND READ AT 2:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, APRIL 7th, 2009 in the St. George City Offices. No proposal will be considered from a contractor who does not have a valid Utah Contractor's License. All proposals submitted must be accompanied by a bid bond or guarantee of not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid and the successful bidder must also furnish a performance and payment bond of 100% of the contract price within 10 days after the acceptance of his bid.
