"Sgt. Scott Lemmon started with the St. George Police as a Reserve Officer in June of 1996. He became a full-time Officer in June of 1998. While with SGPD Sgt. Lemmon has worked as a Patrol Sergeant, School Resource Sergeant and Investigations Sergeant. Currently Sgt. Lemmon is back as a Patrol Sergeant where he loves this assignment and the Officers he works with. Sgt. Lemmon has worked for IHC and Dixie Ambulance Service. He began working on the local Ambulance Service 17 years ago. Currently Sgt. Lemmon is the Paramedic on the SWAT team and has been so for the last 10 years, Sgt. Lemmon has a degree in Emergency Medical Services from Dixie State College. Sgt. Lemmon is currently the Sergeant over CAT Team area's 2/4 and has been for the last 3 years." |

Sergeant Tyler Cowan

Sgt. Cowan currently serves as a Patrol Sergeant. He started his law enforcement career in 1992 in the Patrol Division as a patrol officer. Other assignments include: Field Training Officer, Motorcycle Officer and Supervisor, Gang Officer, and was one of the original four officers that started the Bicycle Unit in 1997. Sgt. Cowan is a Firearms Instructor for the police department and the Police Academy, Taser Instructor, and is on the SWAT team. He serves in the Utah Army National Guard’s 2/222 FA (Triple Deuce) and was deployed for Operation Noble Eagle and Iraqi Freedom. |

Sergeant Craig Harding

Sgt. Harding began work for St. George City in 1981 and for the police department in 1981. Among his assignments during this time are as a patrol officer, a detective in the drug and alcohol division, a patrol sergeant and a school resource officer. He has also served on the SWAT team. Sgt. Harding received the Purple Heart award for a life threatening injury he received while on duty and also the Meritorious Service award for many years of dedicated service to the citizens of St. George. |

Sgt. Hartman began his law enforcement career working for the Iron County jail in 1995. In 1997 he went to work for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. He has been with the St. George Police Department since January of 1999. He has worked as a patrol officer, bike patrol officer, gang detective, school resource officer, and is currently a Patrol Sergeant. He is a defensive tactics instructor; swat team member, and assistant team leader. |

Officer Dunbar has been with the St George Police Department for 3 years. Prior to joining the St George Police Department Ofc Dunbar served in the US Marine Corps Reserves for 8 years. Ofc Dunbar is a Defensive Tactics Instructor for the Police Department, and has recently been selected as a new member of the SWAT team. Ofc Dunbar also is currently assigned as a School Resource Officer for Millcreek high school. |

He is currently working as a School Resource Officer at Pine View Middle School and is assigned to the CAT 6 & 8 teams. He has worked many different assignments including a Narcotics K9 handler for 6 years and A Gang Detective on the Washington County Task Force. |

Officer Holmes is a valuable asset to the St. George Police Department. |

Officer Schimbeck has been with St. George Police Department since October of 2000. He has worked as a patrol officer, field training officer, and is currently serving as a school resource Officer. Det. Schimbeck has been able to attend FBI and ATF and explosive training and serves as a member on the hazardous device team or Bomb Squad as a bomb technician.
