Residents and visitors alike are served by the city’s outstanding park system. The diverse mix of neighborhood parks, community parks, sport facilities, and other special facilities provide a wide range of activities.
The planning, design, and construction of parks and other recreational facilities is overseen by the Park Planning Division. For information on future parks and facilities contact parks@sgcity.org.
Maintenance of parks, landscape right of ways, and city building grounds is overseen by the Park Maintenance Division. For problems, concerns, or information contact parks@sgcity.org.
Park Hours
Parks are closed at dark unless a Facility Reservation Permit or a Special Event Permit has been issued allowing after dark use. Some sport courts with lights may be used after dark. Please check the posted court hours.
