St. George Fire Department trains on trench rescue. Crews spent the morning training on skills needed to preform a rescue for someone trapped in a trench or collapse. These types of rescues require lots of skilled staff and take lots of time. 80 percent of the victims to a trench collapse are rescue. This operation is a low frequency but high risk for our staff.
