Training Photo Galleries - IHC hospital highrise training
On May 19th St. George Fire Department participated with IHC Hospital staff on a evacuation exercise drill. Firefighters responded to smoke and fire on the 4th floor of the hospital. Mean while IHC staff worked to evacuate patients during the training exercise. The exercise was run using a unified command, with hospital staff and firefighters working together to achieve their objectives. Heat was a concern for firefighters as it was in the high 90's that day. A total of 58 firefighters, seven engine companies, two ladder companies and one heavy rescue were used during the exercise. After the training and debrief IHC staff treated firefighters to a great meal from Famous Dave's. Thanks to IHC and Famous Dave's.
