Denied by Engineering...Will not happen... 02/10/2009 Energy Services, Approved with conditions - Require 25' Power Easement on East of Property for overhead transmission line. 02/10/2009 Development Services - Need to provide Public Utility and Drainage Easement document for Parcel. 02/10/2009 Engineering Division - A similar request was denied back in 1999. Among the many issues was that of drainage. A significant amount of drainage has the potential to go through this area. Releasing the property and only relying on an easement may cost us significantly more in the future. Would recommend we not approve abandonment. but if they need to use, we could give them an easement or maybe a lease. We don't know what final improvements my be needed at this location. - See also City Surveyors comments in file. 02/10/2008 Streets - We have no objections as long as proper drainage is provided.
